Game 1: 23rd of July 2016
LOST: 39 to 9
We played against PLC Sydney. There are definitely areas where we need to improve, especially our passing (as our passes were intercepted many times) (LO1). However as a team we have various abilitiies and skills, and i believe that with hard work we can strengthen our team and win some games! (LO4)

Previously when I played netball, I played either Goal Shooter or Goal Attack. However this season I aim to play a different position (Wing Attack/Defence) to push myself to gain new skills.

Game 2: 30th of July 2016
LOST: 38 to 7

We were quite disheartened to lose again, especially as the score different was quite large again. However, sport is about perserverance and hard work - we are not giving up yet! (LO2) The year 10's in our team are unable to come to next weeks training as they have Work Experience, I am slightly worried about this as we need to improve as a team but it shouldn't leave a big impact. While our passing has improved, I believe we need to focus on the pace of our passing more as we tend to rush it in the heat of the game. We also need to improve our stepping. (LO1)

Game 3: 6th of August 2016

LOST: 42 to 9

As a team I believe we are functioning together more smoothly and are relying on each other to have a successful play. Personally, i believe i need to improve on my stamina, so i have the ability to maintain the highest playing standard i can for all four quarters. I have realised that I tire easily, and by the third quarter my defending becomes slack. (LO1) During training I plan to improve this and aim to be able to play a whole game, without being excessively tired. (LO3)
Game 4: 13th of August 2016

Lost 39 to 14
I found that I am improving in my new position of Wing Attack/Defense. While i need to persevere to continue to extend my stamina, I found that my skills needed for this position has been improving.

During training we have been focusing on footing and passing as we have been losing the ball a lot during games due to lousy passes or issues with stepping. The number of incidents where this happened in today's game as lowered, which shows that training is effective.
Game 6: 27th of August 2016

Lost 51 to 6
While the huge gap between our scores definitely disheartened me, but I am grateful for my team's spirit and sportsmanship as they continued to play with motivation and lifted my spirts as well.
Game 7: 3rd of September 2016

Lost 44 to 10

Overall this journey has been rewarding as I was able to identify my own weaknesses and strengths, and take initiate to improve areas and skills that I am poor in. I have greatly improved my stamina! Also, I was able to become close friends with my teammates, and found playing together as a team to be one of the most enjoyable aspects during this season. While we may have lost, we were able to stay positive, enjoy the sport and persevere through the season.
